Wrestling with the Old Testament in Light of Modern Christian Thought
What value do 3000 year-old sacred writings have for practicing Lent today? From early times the Church has wrestled with the relevance of Old Testament to Christian faith. Biblical Scholar Lynette Smith and Regis University Professor Emeritus Fr. Les Bundy will tag-team a Lenten series focusing on applying the Old Testament in the modern world. Each session, they will deal with a text traditionally read during Lent.
