Lenten Season Events
Shrove Tuesday Supper: March 19, 2024 6-8pm
Ash Wednesday Mass: March 20, 2024 7am or 6:30pm
No Vespers at St. Columba on March 23 but those interested will be gathering at a parishoner’s house for Vespers and light refreshments. Please see Fr. David for details.
Starting March 24 Lynette will be teaching an adult Sunday School course after mass and fellowship on ‘The Old Testament in the Liturgies of St Gregory and St Tikhon.’

 

Fr. David McCready and Prof. James Lindsay will be leading a tour of the Holy Land June 3-16, 2024. This tour explores the diverse physical geography, rich material culture, and complex history of the Holy Land. Our primary focus will be Ancient Israel (Old Testament), the life and ministry of Jesus (New Testament), and the Patristic period in the Holy Land. We will also encounter aspects of the history of the Holy Land during the Islamic, Crusader, and Ottoman periods as well as the present day.
